How to order?

straight from the very handy website of AHD! See below how!

Step One: Set up purchasing account

Setting up a purchasing account will enable you to:
- Save time
and money by filling a container with product from our online
warehouse.
- Increase
sales by pre-selling items before they've arrived.
- Retain
customers. If you don't have what they want in stock, chances
are they'll be able to find something they like in our warehouse
which is a live representation of thousands of one of a kind
antiques, reproduction and decorative items.
- Focus on
sales as we'll take care of your container until it arrives to
your door.
To
set up a purchasing account click the "Log In" button found on the
above menu at the top of the page. It will take you to the Customer
Log In page. On the Log In page click the "Create An Account" button
which will take you to a simple form which needs to be completed.
Once
you complete the form it will take 48 hours for your user name and
password to be activated. A confirmation email will be sent to you
when your account has been activated.
Purchasing accounts are reserved for bulk and wholesale clients
only.

Some
cool features of our ordering system are:
- The
container-fill status which is a visual representation of how
full your container is.
- A running
total of pieces in your container, ordered cubic meters, total
cost.
- The ability
to order custom production pieces that are only available to
you.
- Product
comparison.
- Clean user
interface.
- One step
order completion (check-out).
Once
you've logged in you will be taken to your Account Dashboard. If you
have not already done so, you will need to open a new container
order by pressing the "Open Container Order" button. Enter your
container size, desired ship date, confirm your shipping address and
that's it. You can start adding items to your container.
The
availability of each antique you place into your contianer will be
confirmed by AHD staff. If it is no longer available we will let you
know and send you alternative suggestions via email.
Our
online warehouse is comprised of many authentic one of a kind pieces
of furniture. These items are kept in our supplier warehuoses
throughout Northern China. From time to time an item you have placed
into your container order may not be available. If this situation
occurs AHD will let you know and send you alternative suggestions
via email.
For
us to begin to confirm your order, we require a down payment for 10%
of the estimated container value.
Roughly (20ft / 40ft / 40HC): $1,000 / $1,500 / $2,000

Step Three: One Click Order Confirmation

Once
your container is full, or you are happy with your order, simply
press the "Check Out" button located in the menu at the top of the
page. Your order will then be shown. If you need to add, delete or
change the quantity of any product click the "Edit Your Cart" button
found at the bottom of your Order Review.
You
can take as long as you need to arrange the perfect product mix. We
do however recommend you place your order as early as possible. It
is true that the longer you take to confirm your order the more
'antique' your product can become, it is our experience that the
longer things take the messier they can get.
However if everything looks good to you then press the "Place Order"
button.
Once
you've placed your order we will provide you with a pro-forma
invoice. Using the proforma invoice and the After which time we
recommend you to send us a Priority Packing List.
When
we receive this along with the second down payment for 60% of the
actual pro-forma invoice value, we will schedule the loading and
begin packaging of your furniture.
The AHD basics
We want to make your China purchasing as easy and
efficient as possible!
- we get paid by a commission on all your purchases. To know the commission
we can offer you, please get in touch with us. For frequent and big buyers
we offer of course better rates.
- you will be appointed an account manager who will learn about your
business and your needs, and improve the procedures so that a smooth
cooperation is guaranteed.
- we want to make your need to travel to China in person obsolete, which
saves you a hug amount of time and money!
